To keep things fair and transparent, the new pricing structure takes into account two key factors:
- Image quality: Older sets with lower resolution are now available at a reduced base price.
- Set size: The more photos a set contains, the lower the price per image – offering better value for larger collections.
There is a fixed base price of $1.99 for all photo sets. Each image has a price of $0.01 based on 100 images, so a photo set with 100 images costs $2.99 ($1.99 base price + $1.00 variable price). The price per image decreases as the number of images in a photo set increases.
The base price of $1.99 applies to a resolution of 6000 x 4000 pixels or higher, so lower resolution images will receive a discount. The discount is $0.49 for photo sets with a resolution of 4500 x 3000 pixels, $0.99 for photo sets with a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and $1.49 for photo sets with a lower resolution.
There is a fixed base price of $1.99 for all video clips. Each minute has a price of $0.20 based on 5 minutes, so a video clip of 5 minutes costs $2.99 ($1.99 base price + $1.00 variable price). The price per minute decreases the longer the clip is.
The base price of $1.99 applies to 4K resolution or higher, so lower resolution clips get a discount. It is $0.49 for FullHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and $0.99 for HD (1280 x 720 pixels) and $1.49 for lower resolution video sets.
